There will be a lot of people during the course of this year who, for various reasons, will need to earn extra money. It maybe to supplement their income or it could be to replace a lost income. Many will see the growing internet as a possible means to an end. Let's make money on the internet is a cry often heard, it could be considered to be the mating call of the so called "gurus". Each one having even more outlandish headlines, produced from the copywriter who can promise everything, tell the latest near death experience story, or bump into a millionaire, who tells him his dying secret. No wonder we all only stay on a web page for a couple of seconds. Why are we so cynical, because out of the thousands and thousands of people on the internet only a limited number actually earn the millions claimed. Most just earn a living, just like the builder or the office worker and we don't want to learn how to do that do we.
Most people on the internet are selling other peoples products, if this is managed properly by the owner of the product rights, it can be a lucrative business model. But this is not the case. The computer savvy nerds bombard everybody with emails, opt in boxes and free reports that are not worth paying for anyhow. True there are a few giving good value, good content and are trying to build a business with you. How do you sort these out to make some money? What do you do with all the offers that appear in your mailbox, that's the same, snail mail spam, you trash it.
The internet has a growing band of incest internet marketers, selling to internet marketers, selling to internet marketers etc. You wouldn't get a person walking past your house to fix the electrics or do some repairs would you. So take your time to look, listen, read and learn about the subject you are interested in and then try to get some recommendations from other people.
There are many exceptional talents using the internet, some of whom are then passing on some of their knowledge with workshops and training sessions, others use some or their wealth to help the less fortunate; these are the people who will ultimately succeed to make some money. Try to pick one of these people out and watch their every move - success leaves clues.
Every person who started a successful business in the last few centuries had a plan and persisted with it. Let's make some money, developed along the road, slowly but surely. Get rich quick is a dream, work is required, action needs to be taken.
